Our Sunday Gathering

We Gather every Sunday evening in the Upper Room (3rd floor*) of Calvary Baptist Church (531 Haywood Road) from 5:00-6:15pm to celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ through Word, Song, and Sacrament. Together we remember and rehearse who God is and what He has done through His Son. Come be equipped in the good news and experience what everyday life looks like representing this news to your city, neighborhood, and workplace.

* ADA accessible entrance with an elevator is found on Baker Ave. Please call 864-417-2011 so we can let you in.

Missional Communities

A missional community (MC) is a group of people living life together like a family. In an MC, you can love and care for one another like family and serve a particular group of people or a particular place of need in our city. You'll experience how followers of Jesus are best formed in relationships: life-on-life, life-in-community, and life-on-mission. Our MC rhythm for 2024 will be starting up in February. We have plans for one MC in North West Asheville to be hosted every 2 weeks on Wednesday nights. It be hosted in the home of the MC leaders. Each MC loves to welcome, add, and grow new relationships. Check one out for yourself around a casual, no-pressure meal. Or tag along at a party, outing, or service project.

DNA Groups (3 or 4 People)

We all need help living lives of integrity. DNA groups have approximately three people (men with men and women with women) who meet twice monthly to nurture an ongoing life of repentance through the study of God's Word. Deep relationships are formed as we DISCOVER the truth of God's Word, NURTURE one another's heart towards repentance (turning from self-rule and welcoming Jesus' rule), and resolve to ACT by living out of a renewed belief in who God is and what He has done for us in Jesus.

Many of us may have heard Bible stories. But most of us have never interacted with the single storyline of the Bible from beginning to end.

You know the world is not the way it should be. Come to a Story of God weekend and hear the Bible's story of how God is restoring all things back to Himself through Jesus. It's the best news you'll ever hear!
